Do you believe in star signs and horoscopes ? Well Sally Hansen does, or at least they believe that your star sign can help you find the perfect nail polish partner !

They have created an exclusive, limited edition collection of 12 nail polishes that is inspired by the 12 zodiac signs. Each of these shades were chosen to reflect the personality of each star sign.

For an example my star sign is Capricorn and my shade from the collection is a pale,creamy light brown colour (the press release describes it as a cafe au-lait shade, that perfectly suits this wise, calm, and down-to-earth sign :)).

If you have tried any polishes from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure range, you know how good they are.  The polish goes on very smoothly without streaking and dries quite quickly.  When two coats are applied, it turns in to a very flattering nude hue (I am olive skinned). I tried to take a photo of my nails today but the light was too bright, it washed out the colour. I promise I will upload a photo as soon as time permits.

The spooky thing about this colour is that I love nude shades and it’s something  I would pick (even without the guidance from the stars !). I posted a photo of these on Instagram a few days back and from the comments there most people loved their given shade.

I was sent two more polishes from the collection – Tempting Taurus(a cool pastel green with a matte finish) and Scorpio Sizzle (a bright fuchsia).

And of course if you don’t like the shade you were born with you can always try something else. There are some gorgeous shades in the collection with different finishes so I am pretty sure there’s a shade out there with your name ( or star sign) on it 🙂
